Before we got approval to return to scouting we needed to create risk assessments and to mitigate the risk of transmission to the highest degree, we have submitted this up the chain within the scouts and it has been approved and we have now go back to Face to Face scouting.
During the lockdown, the leaders of first Dartford has created a cleaning plan as well as the new procedures to follow when we get back to Face to Face scouting again. Scouting will look pretty different now as we are following government guidance and have put in place things to help prevent the spread within scouts. theses are having the scout hall be a one-way system, wearing of masks and PPE where appropriate, having more ventilation of the hall, smaller groups, frequent hand washing and hand sanitising when we enter and exit the hall to name a few.
Due to the frequent updating of our guidance, this could change but currently, this is how we are bring scouting back for all our young people in the safest way possible
