St George's Day Parade

Leaders and young people enjoyed a warm St George's Day service in Central Park, followed by parade. All sections and leaders renewed their promise with all Dartford District Groups. The parade was attended by the Dartford Mayor, Pat Coleman, Councillors and Dartford's MP.

Thanks to all parents who supplied very tidy young people, especially as it was also Mother's Day. Red rose buttonholes have become a tradition for leaders of 1st Dartford and this year our GSL gave out roses to the youngsters to give to their Mums.
