St George's Day Parade

1st Dartford Scout Group joined all the other Dartford District Groups for the annual St George's Day Parade in Central Park for our re newal of promises.

I am pleased to say we were awarded smartest on parade and presented with the District St George's flag. We will be asked to parade this flag at District events during 2010/11. We were also runner's up for the District Standard competition which judges Groups or Sections on their community involvement during the preceeding year.

Thank you to everyone, parents, executive, leaders and young people who worked hard to achieve the award. Thanks also to the young people who clearly enjoyed their parade.
