Chief Scout Gold Award

David Rees-Boughton and Daniel Field received their Scout Gold Award in February 2011 from District Commissioner Angela Rainey and District Scout Leader Wayne Tomkinson. They have achieved eight challenge badges each, activities have included archery, rifle shooting, climbing, caving, canoeing, mountain bike riding, abseiling, quad bike riding, and camping.
Both boys attended the District run “Older Scouts Expedition” camping on the Welsh border last year and want to go again to the next one in 2012. They have both joined Livingstone Explorers.
