Kent 25th Birthday Beaver Celebration at Quex

1st Dartford Beavers joined 1700 Kent beavers at Quex Park at Birchington in Thanet which hosted the Kent 25th Birthday Challenge celebrations to mark 25 years of the Beaver section. The 6-8 year olds were able to try their hand at archery, ctross bows, water activities, science experiments, crafts, games, nature trail, drumming workshop , It's a Knock out, and last one standing, two amazing inflatables and lots more in the beautiful gardens.
We also had free time to wander through the museum and look at the wonderful collection of artifacts and stuffed animals from Africa and around the world.
In true Scouting spirit over £1000 will be donated towards two African charities.
We all had a lovely day, and a very quiet coach returned to Dartford.
