Group Visit to RAF Museum London

On Sunday 12th January, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and their parents enjoyed a trip to the Air Museum in London. Armed with their pencils and worksheet, the children and their parents set off to explore the different areas of the museum and were able to see a variety of planes and helicopters, as well as learning about heroic pilots and the Battle of Britain. The Cubs had been working on their Air Activities badge over the last few weeks and this visit to the museum was the final part needed to complete the badge. The Cubs were presented with their badges in front of the museum's Avro Lancaster.
