Group Mini Olympics

All sections of 1st Dartford Scout group had an enjoyable day in Central Park, Dartford. Our mini-olympics coincided with two years to the London 2012 olympics and our young people ran the 100m's, tried long and high jumps, threw the javelin and hammer. We would like to thank the Dartford Harriers for the use of their track and equipment and the help of their coaches.

Gold medals were presented for first place and a great day was had by all.

Thanks for everyone's efforts, not least our parents for getting everyone down there when the Dartford Festival was on.
