Dartford District Scout Carnival

Dartford scouters held their annual Carnival in Central Park, Dartford. The event was kicked off with a fancy dress parade as all Groups were given musicals as the theme. 1st Dartford had Camelot and thus there were lots of swords, shields, helmets and St George's crosses to be seen.
The carnival then had lots of activities to offer. There were several bridges, swings and ropes on which to swing and climb, all started from scratch that morning. Groups offered opportunities to have a tattoo, make a bird box, pan for gold, have a burger or strawberries and cream. There was a coconut shy and much more.
Our Scouts entered the five aside football competition and came second. Very well done.
