Beavers see Father Christmas on New Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch minature railway

Beavers and Leaders ventured to Hythe for a trip on the miniature railway to see Father Christmas. We enjoyed a lovely half hour trip to New Romney where we waited on the platform to see Father Christmas arrive on his sleigh pulled by a small steam locomotive. Exciting to see him arrive out of the steam.
Beavers then visited the model railway exhibition and had to try and spot the black rat running around the track. We then went into Father Christmas's grotto and received a present and had our picture taken.
We then had refreshments in the cafe before the return train journey. The beavers were a delight and enjoyed their visit. Our thanks to the railway enthusiasts.
