Beaver section Tea Party for Marie Curie nurses.

1st Dartford Beavers invited Cubs, Scouts, leaders and familes  to a giant Tea Party. All proceeds going to Marie Curie nursing, we hoped to raise £20 to pay for an hour of a nurse to be present in someone's home.

Loads of parents and families came and suppported us. The beavers had iced cakes with flower shapes on them which they sold with tea to Mums and Dads. Once everyone was seated beaver and leaders served tea and cakes.

A 'tea' quiz was held with breakfast tea as a prize... there should have been rich tea biscuits as well but Pet handed them out by mistake!

In totally we raised £50, far beyond the £20 we had hoped for.

Thanks to everyone attending, especially the cubs who came.
