AGM and Overnight Family Activity at Hopehill

Approximately 50 leaders, parents, beavers, cubs and scouts ventured to Hopehill Campsite for an activity afternoon followed by an overnight under canvas for those who were brave enough. There was an afternoon shooting competition with prizes for the highest scoring adult and child. Firelighting and String trail was the afternoon activity in the woods, mini pioneering and craft by the tents.
Our AGM was performed with the usual speed with reports being given out before hand. Our Chairmans report is attached. We followed this with a BBQ and rounders. Lastly we enjoyed a communial campfire toasting marshmallows.
Sunday morning provided prussicking up some nearby trees (climbing up a single rope).
A great event which everyone enjoyed.
