1st Dartford Scout Group raises money for Shelter for Japan Earthquake

1st Dartford Scout Group raised money for the Shelter Box charity for their work in the aftermath of the Japanese Earthquake during the recent Cross Country at Canada Heights. Over £175 was raised by the burger stall, this was added to the beaver sections fundraising earlier in the year, and the Group added the rest to make the final total £250.00
Beavers learnt about the work of Shelter Box, an initiative first started by Rotary International. In our meeting we put up a tent and thought about what it would be like to live in it.
